What is Cell Phone Unlocking?

What does cell phone unlocking mean? 

It is the removal of the restrictions put on  by your carrier to prevent you from using your phone with another company.

Why should I unlock my cell phone?

To be able to use it on other carriers (networks)  when you are traveling or if you want to switch providers you would need to unlock your phone first. Also if you want to sell your phone at a premium price then it will need to be unlocked.

Where do I find my IMEI number?

Dial *#06# on your phone and the 15 digit IMEI number will be displayed on screen.

How long will it take to get my code?

Every phone has a different wait time. It can take seconds, minutes, hours or days. The estimated wait time based on previous orders is mentioned prior to checkout after you have given us your IMEI number. Your unlock code will be emailed to you: check your spam folder in case it ends up there. 

How do I know if the used phone I bought has been reported stolen or is blacklisted?

You can find out for free by checking the following links:  CANADA  I   USA       When buying a used iPhone you must also make sure that it is not activation locked, meaning that the "Find my iPhone" feature under settings has to be turned off by the original owner. Check your iPhone HERE

What is your refund policy?

If the code is not found we will refund you within 24 hours.  If the code does not work for some reason, contact us first and we will troubleshoot. If we cannot resolve the issue then  you must provide video proof. After verifying the video we will refund you.

What else do I need to know before placing my order?

It is advisable that you read the unlock instructions for your phone first.  Also, if it is an Android make sure it is prompting for a code. It is also a good idea to read our Terms & Conditions.
